Design
Consultation - We begin with an on-site meeting to discuss your goals, explore ideas, and assess the site. After evaluating the scope, you'll receive a tailored design proposal.
Site Analysis - Once the proposal is approved, I'll gather key information—including measurements, elevation and LiDAR data, photos, and site conditions—to create an accurate basemap. Any existing surveys or site documents you can provide help streamline this step and reduce costs.
Concept Design - At our second meeting, I'll present one or two concept layouts, along with inspiration images and a preliminary plant palette. This creative phase helps us refine your goals and confirm the design direction.
Master Plan & Planting Plan - The final Master Plan outlines all hardscape elements, materials, lighting, and layout. The Planting Plan includes all selected plants, labeled with scientific and common names, drawn to scale. You'll also receive a plant schedule with quantities, bloom times, care notes, and a photo palette showing key planting combinations.
Most landscape plans start at $1,000 for a partial yard and $2,500 for a full yard, depending on the level of detail and complexity.
3D modeling can be included for an additional fee, starting at $1,000.
Build / Project Oversight
Small Projects (Build) - I will happily complete small scale projects from start to finish, including procuring plants and installing garden beds, rain gardens, drip irrigation, low-voltage lighting, and small areas of hardscape (under 50 ft).
Large Projects (Oversight) - For larger scale projects bringing your design to life requires more than just a plan—it takes thoughtful execution. I offer hands-on support throughout the installation process, acting as your advocate to ensure the design is implemented as intended.
From selecting qualified contractors and securing bids to procuring plants and overseeing key stages of the build, I help prevent costly missteps caused by misinterpretation.
Whether you're working with contractors or building the garden yourself, I'll guide you through the process. Our final meeting focuses on plant care and long-term maintenance, with referrals available if ongoing support is needed.
Construction budgets typically start at $5,000 for redesigned garden beds and $10,000 to $100,000 for larger and more complex projects.
Maintenance & Coaching
Coaching - Need guidance on plant selection, pruning, or improving your garden care routine? Our expert coaching provides personalized advice to help you better understand and care for your landscape.
Maintenance - Whether you need regular upkeep or occasional help with tasks like planting, weeding, or seasonal clean-up, we offer thoughtful, horticulturally informed maintenance. Working with a trained professional ensures your plants receive proper care—and that your favorite perennials won't be mistaken for weeds.
Please note: We do not offer lawn care services.
Garden coaching and maintenance services are billed at $75 per hour, with a 90 minute minimum for coaching sessions.
